Hi, I’m Jennifer and I love being able to come alongside people and help them think about and make sense of what is going on in their life, and make changes to realise the life they want.

There are many different reasons you might be visiting this site and considering counselling. You may be experiencing difficulties, such as a relationship breakdown, family issues, struggling with depression or anxiety, or feeling shame or low self-esteem. Perhaps you sense something hasn’t felt right for a while, but you are unable to pin point why, or maybe you recognise things are starting to feel wrong and you want to find a space to process things now before they get worse.

Counselling is a process of discovery, and can help you gain insight and understanding and develop stronger relationships

Counselling can help you gain insight into your relationships, identify patterns that have formed in your life and understand how you want to move forward. You can learn to develop stronger relationships with others and, most importantly, with yourself. Counselling can shed light on the triggers of your anxiety and depression, and help develop healthy ways to manage these. It can also lead to understanding what is behind the feelings of shame or low self-esteem; providing you the space and support to put aside things that you do not need to hold onto.

It is important to find the right counsellor for you; someone you feel safe with and can trust to listen and help without judgement.

You can read more about me, what to expect from counselling, and how I can help on this site. If I sound like the right counsellor for you, please do contact me and we can arrange to have a free initial conversation about your needs.
